This piece, belonging to the Montblanc 1858 product line is inspired by the legendary professional Minerva watches from the 1920s and 1930s which were conceived for military use and exploration. It expresses the spirit of mountain exploration, embodying the modern trend of returning to nature. The timepiece features a manufacture world-time complication developed by the Montblanc watchmakers in Villeret: two domed globes, turning in opposite directions, that complete a full rotation in 24 hours. Both are surrounded by a scale with the 24 time zones, along with a day and night indication in contrasting colours. This provides an instinctive way of appreciating the different time zones, aided by SuperLumiNova® applied to the continents for increased visibility and performance at night. The timepiece is completed with a blue Sfumato calf leather strap with white stitching.
Features Include: Bi-directional turning bezel, Dome Shaped Crystal, Crown fluted in titanium with Montblanc emblem in relief, Water Resistance to 100m and a case diameter of 42mm.
