Smales Jewellers Subiaco celebrated their 80th Anniversary with the launch of the latest Rolex Baselworld 2017 collection on Wednesday 16 August. The event was held at new boutique hotel -Tribe located in West Perth, where luxury watch enthusiasts and fashionistas alike gathered in gold & green surrounds reflective of the Rolex brand colours. The night was introduced by the Smales brand ambassador Karina White, followed by a short watchmaking history lesson by Mr Ron Smales. Throughout the evening, champagne and canapes were served while guests experienced the latest Rolex collection.
Ron Smales, one of the most experience and knowledgeable watchmakers in WA, said “Viewing the new Rolex Collection at Smales is always highly anticipated, and an annual highlight for our customers”. The luxury watch brand was first introduced to Smales jewellers in September 2008 this year, the highly anticipated new and improved Oyster Perpetual Sea-Dweller was launched to mark its 50th anniversary.
The collection also featured the Cosmograph Daytona in 18ct yellow, white Everose gold with an innovative Oysterflex bracelet in elastomer and a monobloc Cerachrom (patented ceramic alloy) bezel in black ceramic. Rolex watches have been a number one seller in the Subiaco store for many years and their timeless pieces make the perfect gift, each watch is beautifully crafted with precision and style, with prices that start from $14,400. Smales ambassador Karina kindly modelled the Pearl Master II which retails for $156,900 for the media whilst bloggers and instagrammers fed live posts throughout the night.
