New season jewellery trends

Posted on November 17 2015

Simple but stunning jewellery can make an outfit. And even better if it’s on-trend with this year’s hottest fashion accoutrements.

Jewellery trends come and go and this year there’s a big focus on ear and finger ‘candy’ such as ear jackets, ear cuffs, and statement diamond rings.

Rosina Tufilli, Smales' Senior Sales Executive said it was important that jewellers experiment with fashion forward pieces.

"Jewellery is an extremely personal thing. Like clothes and perfume, the jewellery we wear is an extension of our personality,” she said.

“At Smales, we carefully curate our collections to appeal to lovers of both the contemporary and the classic, so there’s something for everyone.

"We have stunning heirloom pendants alongside very on-trend pieces such as the ear cuffs and criss-cross rings - trends that are taken to another level when they're beautifully crafted and set with world class diamonds.

"Ear cuffs and statement rings were very popular trackside this spring racing season and we expect the trend to continue throughout the party season and into summer.

“We have some exquisite pieces that you won't find anywhere else in the state.”

Smales is the only jeweller in Perth to stock the coveted Hearts On Fire collection, which is among the world’s leading diamond jewellery brands.

Known as ‘The World’s Most Perfectly Cut Diamond’ because of its extraordinary diamond cutting technology, the style, quality and craftsmanship of Hearts On Fire place it at the forefront of jewellery design.

The talented Smales team can also custom make pieces for you.

Visit their showrooms at 143 Rokeby Road, Subiaco, 18 Prinsep Street, Bunbury and 227 Hannan Street, Kalgoorlie.
