Discover Different: Bridal Engagement Rings at Smales Jewellers

The perfect partner is hard to find. Like a diamond in the rough, it’s an indescribable feeling that you’re the luckiest person in the world. You know when you find the one, and you won’t let that go for anything.

Engagement rings are just the same: what ultimately matters is the personal connection. Some classical beauties endure, while other styles come and go with the decades, and 2020 has brought much in the way of change for engagement rings and wedding bands.

Keep up with diamond engagement ring trends with Smales

Our diamond ring ateliers have returned to the roots of Smales’ signature WA-inspired design while clarifying global trends to discover the elements of everlasting style.

These are the icons that embody engagement ring design, now and in the years ahead. Browse our full range of engagement rings, wedding bands, and diamond rings online or visit one of our 5 showrooms to see them for yourself.

Our classic Double Halo Engagement Ring

Halo engagement rings are an enduring style defined by a floating ring of lustrous diamonds. Smales’ stunning double halo design features a 0.21ct H/Si diamond, with H representing the highest colour quality of the central white diamond and Si denoting its near-flawless clarity.

The central diamond glows atop a hand-crafted 18ct white gold band, surrounded by two rings of diamonds which spill elegantly down the band to total 0.41ct.

Our stunning Fancy M Ring

Diamonds are forever, although you can be forgiven for missing them the first time you glance at this stunning square ring featuring a 6.15ct Morganite in art-deco inspired Asscher cut. But then the ring catches the light and you can’t miss the 1.57 total carat of diamonds inlaid around the central stone.

Artfully set into an 18ct white gold band contrasted with a yellow gold setting, there is a timelessness to our Fancy M ring that makes it perfect for your contemporary sweetheart with an eye for classic style.

Our unique Pear Shaped Diamond Ring

When you think of a diamond engagement ring with individual style, our Pear-Shaped Diamond Ring should come to mind. Featuring a central cluster of 5 princess cut diamonds ringed by a pear-shaped halo of 28 round diamonds, the ring is a contemporary variation on halo engagement ring design.

An 18ct white gold band holds a total 0.70ct weight of GH/Si rated diamonds, among the finest quality and clarity white diamonds available in engagement rings today.

Own a piece of history with a Smales Pink Diamond Engagement Ring

No stone is more uniquely Western Australian than an Argyle Pink Diamond, like the 0.3ct beauty set in 18ct rose gold surrounded by a halo of 0.04ct pink diamonds. Another halo, this time 44 F/VS graded white diamonds totalling 0.59ct, completes the awe-inspiring engagement ring design.

It is the balance of rare pink diamonds set in rose gold, cascading to high-clarity white diamonds set in an 18ct white gold band, that makes this piece of Kimberley history so unique.

With the Argyle diamond mine soon to be closed, pink diamonds will become even more difficult to find, making this ring an investment, as well as a declaration of love.

Discover your style at Smales

We invite you to see these pieces in person at any of our 5 locations around Western Australia. Visit our showrooms in Subiaco, Bunbury, Karratha, Geraldton, or our original home in Kalgoorlie. Alternatively, you can call for an appointment and discuss your wedding band or diamond ring desires with a master jeweller.
